HILIGAYNON FLASH FICTION WRITING CONTEST

CONTEST RULES
1. The contest is open from September 20, 2016 to October 15, 2016, to all Filipino citizens, of all ages, except members of the Hubon Manunulat and organizers of the Iloilo Taboan 2016.
2. Only one original entry shall be submitted and it must contain at least 100-150 words only. The theme is open and free.
3. The entry must include only the pen name of the author. It must be in a PDF File, double-spaced, and on an 8 ½ x 11 inches bond paper. It should have a one-inch margin on all sides. The allowable font styles are the following: Calibri, Times New Roman, or Tahoma. Font size should be 12.
4. Entry must be submitted through the email: iloilotaboan2016@gmail.com on or before the midnight of October 15, 2016. Entry is considered official once the author receives a confirmation email from Hubon Manunulat.
5. Only one entry will be declared winner on the 22nd of October 2016 during the Iloilo Taboan 2016 at Casa Real.
6. The winner will receive a PhP4,000.00 cash prize and a certificate.
7. Absence during the awarding ceremonies shall mean forfeiture of the prize.
8. The decision of the board of judges shall be final and irrevocable.

3. The entry/ies must contain only the pen name of the author.
4. The entry/ies must be submitted through the email: iloilotaboan2016@gmail.com on or before October 15, 2016. Entry/ies are considered official once the author receives a confirmation email from Hubon Manunulat.

Iloilo, Banwa Ko: Ang Pagsulat ni Oble sang Syudad

CALL FOR SHORT STORY CONTRIBUTIONS

Tuig 1947 sang una gintukod ni Oble ang iya mga siki sa Dakbanwa sang Iloilo. Sugod sadto, nangin kabahin na sya sa mga importante nga hilitabo sa syudad. Ginbun-ag kag gintatap sang UP Visayas Iloilo ang madamo nga personalidad sa linain-lain nga spectrum sang sosyodad, kutob sa politikal, kultural, kag bisan sa sektor sang negosyo.

Madamo sang sugilanon ang  mga tawo nga nangin kabahin sang UP Visayas. May mga sugilanon sang kalipay, kalisod, kag pati linabutaw. Tinutuyo sang antolohiya nga tipunon ang ini nga mga sugilanon agud mabasa man sang madamo ang danas sang mga taga-UPV Iloilo sa syudad sang Iloilo. 

Bukas ang ini nga koleksiyon sa mga former kag current students, faculty, kag staff sang UPV Iloilo.

Pagabatunon ang mga sugilanon nga fiction kag non-fiction nga may kalabaon sang isa tubtob 15 ka pages. Double spaced, font size 12 sa Arial ukon Times New Roman. Isulat sa MS Word ukon kaparehas nga software, kag hatagan sang .doc ukon .docx nga extension. Ipadala sa oblewritesiloilo(at)gmail(dot)com. Deadline sa October 15, 2014. Pwede masulat ang sugilanon sa Hiligaynon, Kinaray-a, Akeanon, kag Filipino.
